Orhangazi Ilıpınar Tumulus Excavation Area

As a result of the excavations in Ilıpınar Höyük, which is approximately 2 km south of Orhangazi District, ten layers from the top of the hill to the main soil were found. The lowest level detected is the Late Neolithic Age with Hacilar and Fikirtepe culture. It is dated to the end of the 6th millennium BC.
